Beginning With Hope Of A New Chapter

As you have come to the end of my blog post,  lets start with a new chapter, new life, and

a beginning of

hope. It is time to leave everything that happened to us behind, move forward and

pray for better days. Hope is a little seed of light, that grows into a brighter future

that GOD has planned for us. By having hope and believing in ourselves, anything is

possible to achieve in this world and to overcome in our daily lives.

Hope is what allows seeds to grow into flowers. Hope is what makes gloomy clouds

disappear, by transforming into morning daylight. Hope brings a new morning of

new blessings, to see everyday, to become great. Hope is what we see in a newborn

child’s eye, knowing that the child is destined to be great from it’s mother’s womb.

The world is ours. With everything in it, once we start to have hope in ourselves. Let us live in

the moment, and to keep on leveling up our dreams day by day. Let’s not look back

at what is behind us, and let’s begin to look at what is in front of us.

Let’s begin this journey of new hope and happiness.

Poetry Life Stories

The purpose of my poetry is to present to that you are not alone as you go through the trails in your life.

As you read my poetry, I would like for you to get into a deep feeling of thinking. To

look at life from a

different perspective. Sometimes my poetry will make you laugh, think, or maybe even  cry at some

moments.  Poetry is a beautiful way to express your life and the world in a deep

feeling through your writing. When you read my poetry, I want you to feel

shocked and amazed on the words that I write. Not by just looking at my words, but

to go deeper and understand my message. After all, what is the point of poetry if there is not a deeper message behind the words written on the page?

 

Whenever I experience a bump in the road as I go through life, I always write out my thoughts. It feels as if your rapping or making a song. Rapping is poetry, using your words in word to synthesize with beats and tunes so that people can listen to your message instead of reading it.  That’s why sometimes poetry

or music is a powerful thing to listen to because it’s another way of communication and

realizing what’s going on in our daily generation.

I want my poetry to be a pain healer for you.

I also want to spread love and positive energy. I enjoy seeing people happy and overcoming

their deepest fears. Writing poetry is a such a beautiful thing because you feel as if

your writing your life story daily or even as if  you are writing your own movie. What is life

without poetry. Poetry is another way of to listen and write life’s good and darkest

moments.

Change

In order to grow, we have to make changes. Look at the poetry illustration, and you

can view the look in Tupac’s face. Your first thought might be of him looking sad or

depressed. Or he’s in a deep thought of thinking, finding ways to change his life

around. My poem Change is a motive from Tupac’s song Change, but in my poetry

version. Have you ever look at situations that goes on in your life and wonder

why are things happening this way ? Or your thinking about why does the same results

keeps on happening to you ?

Sometimes we are the problem. It is not people around us or the things that happen in

our lives. There are times that we tend to blame people for our own actions or the

mistakes that we make. We let our pride get  in the best of us sometimes, and you wonder

why things doesn’t go the way we expected them to plan out. People tend to stress on

relationship that doesn’t go well, friendship problems, job opportunities that we slack

on, or any situation that repeatedly fails most of the time.

This poem talks about self-change. I talked about how I prayed to GOD to ask for

change, but I see no change, I live my life but see no change, As I wait for a shine to

make a change, until I saw it was me that needed some change. I came to a

realization that it was me that needed to change. Most of us would not think that

sometimes. Once we start to learn ourselves more, willing to change certain things

about ourselves, that’s when your life will start to turn around differently.

If your expecting to have a successful marriage, relationship with a significant other,

or a healthy friendship, we need to work on ourselves first. We have to take care of

ourselves, making sure our life is stable, mentally strong, and in the right direction.

Once in your a committed relationship with your love one, you have another

responsibility to take care of as an adult. As a child of GOD, we need to humble ourselves

and realize what we do all the time is not always right and good. There’s going to be a

point in life that we have to learn from one another, and to educate our brain to see

better results. Once we starting making changes within ourselves, the world will be a

better place, our lives will start to change, you will begin to see more growth within

yourself, and becoming a better person for your family.

Coming to realize of your mistakes and failures, is one big step to success. How can you

become successful in life without change or learning from your failures. Life isn’t

always going to be beautiful. As a community, we have to go through it’s darkest

moments to rise to a beautiful new day of opportunities. Everyday is new lesson to

make a new change for our lives to become better in each moment.

Why wait for a perfect moment to change, or wait for tomorrow, when that

moment or tomorrow isn’t promised for us? Why can’t we make a change now, instead

of waiting? Once you have that mindset of “NOW, NOT LATER”, I promise you will see

a better a version of yourself every single day.

Let Go And Let GOD

Due to the pain of my past, it was time for me to finally let go of what has

 already happened and to accept that things can’t go back to the way it was.

Letting Go poem symbolizes strength and a new chapter of a life change. Realizing

how important your value is and to find ways to love yourself better. There’s a say

“Let go and Let GOD”. Once you give GOD all of your pain, he will take care of it

and make you the person you are inspired to be .

There are times when we reminisce the good moments we have with people

that we loved or missed from the past. Sometimes we try so hard to not think about it.

But there are moments when it just come to our minds unexpectedly. When you are

faced in that moment, take a look at yourself in the mirror and remember who you

are as a person.

Tell yourself that  “I can get through this, GOD got me”. Once you have that attitude,

you can get through anything that comes in your way or that tries to distract your

focus.  Letting go is hard at times. We tend to ask ourselves  “why does  this keeps on

happening to me?” or “is there something wrong with me , am I not good enough

for you ?”, “why is that I am so good to someone and they don’t even see it ?”

    My dear brothers and sisters, there is nothing wrong with you. GOD made the

person that you are for a reason. Not everyone is going to like you or love the things

you do all the time. It took me a while to realize that, or sometimes I will learn that the

hard way.  At the end, it made me appreciate the ones that are in my life right now

and the ones that are helping me to prosper. Never change who you are as a person to

please someone else needs. The moment we let go and accept the way certain things

are, the moment we start to find true love and happiness within ourselves.

My First Poem

Blinded heart is my first poem I have written. The theme of blinded heart

is about my past. Based on the things I went through my past relationships, my heart

became blinded. No matter how good I meet a new person, my heart is still trauma-

tized to the bad. When you’re surrounded by the bad often, you’re used to the pain

and your heart feels to have it’s tatted scars that can never go away…

Have you ever had that moment, when your just use to the bad? Or you feel that

nothing good comes in your way most of the time? We all tend to go through that stage

in our point of lives sometimes. We can have the good right in front of our eyes, but

our hearts is blinded to the love that the person is willing to offer for us. It’s like we are

numbed to the bad so much, that we can’t feel the good touching in our spirit. Blinded

Heart poem is a cry for help and pleading to see true happiness again. My pain blinds

my heart filling with scars and pain. It’s so deep that my heart can’t even open it eyes

to see the light of joy.

As I wrote this poem, it brought tears to my eyes because I never knew my feelings

would have been this deep. Our hearts will remain blind if we continue to push the

good away. We have to forget about the bad and give new things a try to make our

hearts recover from our pain. We all make mistakes in life and hurt the

ones we love. Moving forward, we have to better ourselves as human beings and let

our hearts see what life can really be in it’s own eyes, filled with miracles, once we

change for the better.

Father Like Son

After reading his book, Tupac has inspired me to write poetry. No one understood his

heart very well but GOD. GOD is the only one that understood his emotions and the

care he had for his people. Through his poetry, you can sense the emotion he had for

women, his mother, and for the people that struggled to have their voices be heard. Some

people may view him as just an legendary rapper, but it was bigger than just rap

music. His gifts were a way of life for people to understand that they are not alone

based on what they are going through.  It’s to show that everything will get

better if

we stick together and stay strong.

Tupac poetry and music had inspired me to write about what goes on in our daily

world, ways to make changes, or the things we feel in our daily lives. There are times, I

feel like a young Tupac. A young black man that truly sees the reality of what life

really is and how it can shatter you daily without even seeing what makes you cry.

There’s never a moment, when I feel that it’s me against the world. Having people to

show fake love, as if you were blind to see their true reality, facing the price of having

trust in many people, and to feel like your the only one that you can depend on. Just

like a father and son relationship. I view Tupac as a fatherhood figure in my life,

based on the things we both can relate in many ways, trying to survive in life.

Lastly, to continue his legacy that he left for us, as what a son will do for his father.

Inspiration

“Did u hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete

Proving nature’s laws wrong it learned 2 walk without moving feet

Funny it seems but by keeping its dreams it learned 2 breathe fresh air

Long Live The Rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared !”

— This quote came from his poetry book ” The Rose That Grew From Concrete.

 

The Rose That Grew From Concrete was originally published on November 1, 1999.  The

rose is a symbol of the person that was told they can’t do anything. The concrete is the

task that people say the “rose” can’t do, and the “nature law” is the people that are

saying the “rose” can’t do it.  Many people have different interpretation of his poem.

Some can literally take as just the rose grew from concrete. Others can say that it’s about

following your dreams, and taking after what you believe in.

From my point of view,

the poem tells people that they can do more than what they believe they can do, to try

new things, and to not let anyone say you can’t do something. After I read his book

It made me admire Tupac even more as a human being. He really inspired me to stay

strong in life and to keep fighting for what I believe in. No matter how hard it is,

we have to keep on moving and to keep our head up, even through the dark days.

Tupac Amaru Shakur went through so much in his life for a short of time.

  • Raised by a single mother, who was involved with drugs
  • By not having a father in his life, learning how to be a man on his own
  • Faced with a lot of charges: accused of false raped charges, police brutality
  • Media shattering his humanity, viewed as the biggest threat due to his music

Tupac used his obstacles to express in his music and poetry. Without his downfalls

he wouldn’t be the man that he was known as today. Tupac is a believer, a fighter, and

a leader for our people. We are all the roses that grew from concrete, by overcoming our

darkest days of life.

Life Of A Poet
